Famous 1923 Series actor Cole Brings Plenty who found dead on April 5, 2024 and Police authorities were searching for him as he was wanted in a domestic violence case filed by Lawrence woman name “Alexis Zabala”
She told Police that Cole assaulted her at her apartment and then fled away from there when cops arrived.
What happened between them during night out?
In my previous article I wrote about Alexis Zabala but now I have got some more information from local sources regarding what exactly happened between Alexis Zabala and Cole Brings:
According to Anaya Holder, a relative of Cole shared that Cole Brings Plenty and Alexis Zabala came across during a night out.
She told that cole was fully enjoying mosh pit at the Replay Lounge in LawrenceKS and unfortunately his hair became tangled in a mic cable. She further added that :
“One person was trying to help him yank the wire out and another Person (Alexis Zabala) came up unexpectedly and with no right did they have to take it upon themselves to cut his hair.
This is hard for all of us as a Indigenous community at Haskell Indian Nations University. Our hair has value its our strength”
The Band who was performing there also reported same thing happened with Cole Brings at that night . The band wrote :
One individual attempted to forcibly pull his hair out of the knot and another Person (Alexis Zabala) apparently took it upon themselves to cut his hair with a pair scissors. As a native person, this is a serious violation. In the chaos, we didn’t unfortunately react quickly enough to stop it,”

What exactly happened at Alexis Zabala Apartment?
Valerie Nathan , Supporter of Indigenous Community who shared what happened.with Cole Brings at that night in her Facebook Post :
“This man (Cole Brings) was in a mosh pit and Alexis Zabala, took it upon herself to cut his hair off after it was entangled in the mic cord. For Indigenous peoples that would be like cutting an actual piece of body off. He was understandably heart broken as he didn’t ask to have his hair cut. It’s unclear the motive as they were detangling his hair and seems to have been safe,”
Valerie Nathan further told that Cole Brings came to Alexis house to confront her about it and she screamed which is when he got in his truck and left.
“And she called the police pressed charges on him under DV. She did it under DV because she says they knew each other prior. So while still missing the police had no choice but to put out charges on him,”
Alexis Zabala reaction at Cole Brings Disappearance;
As news of Cole Brings Plenty disappearance spread Alexis Zabala laughed at him and said she had to do something with his disappearance. Later on, her social media comments were deleted but it’s screenshots are available.
One more sad thing is Cole Brings sister was also killed in same way eight months ago and her dead body was also found in wooded area.
Cole Brings Plenty’s Family demanded free and fair investigation in Cole Brings Plenty death case.
