Ryan Garcia on this Tuesday said disrespectful words for mother of WBC champion Devin Haney during their heated promotional face-off at the historic Empire State Building in Manhattan, New York.
Both are set to fight this weekend on 20 April 2024 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York after Devin Haney accepted challenge of Ryan Garcia for WBC super lightweight title.
In shared video of their face-off it can be seen that Garcia disrespected Haney’s Mom by saying:
“I’ll f*king kill you, bch. Where’s your mom at? Where’s your mom, bch? Where’s your mom, bch? Where’s your mom, bch? Where’s your mom, bch? Where’s your momma, bch? Where’s your momma, b*ch?”
This made Haney furious and before he smashed opponent Ryan face he replied:
“Where’s your fat a** mom? Where’s your fat a** mom? Where’s your fat a** mom?”
So fans are curious to know who was mother of Devin Haney and what happened with her ?
Who was mother of Devin Haney?
I personally researched a lot to gather information about mother of Haney but there is no information available about Haney’s mom and even her name is also unknown. Although little info about grandma of Haney is available whose name was Renee Jannah and she has died in March 2024.
It is also known that she was diagnosed with cancer but exact cause of her death is unknown.
Haney’s fellow boxers and fans also sent prayers for her grandmother and expressed their support for Haney’s family.
But Haney didn’t publicly shared information about his mother while all know about his father whose name is Bill Haney. Daven Haney once in an interview told that he got his fashion sense from his mother. His words were:
“I always love Fashion and Stuff like that When I was young my mom used to be like a Shopaholic, it’s like one of my mom memories that we used to do like our love language , We used to go like this store , that store it would be fun just being with her just picking out clothes with her”
Bill Haney Reaction at Haney’s mom Disrespect:
Bill Haney who always supported Devin and is his trainer and mentor reacted harshly to Ryan disrespectful words for Haney’s mom and pointed out that Ryan did this to annoy his WBC champion son.
It is also noted that Devin Haney who was Born in San Francisco but later when he was 14 years old he decided to relocate to Las Vegas with his dad. His dad has sports craze and due to his dad guidance he became a star boxer at early age. His current age is 25 years.

Majority of fans criticized Ryan for disrespectful behavior towards Haney’s mom. One said :
“I am not a Devin fan but I hope he Beat the Shat outta Ryan! Yall call him a man of God not hardly talking about peoples moms that’s crazy disrespect”
While there were some who called it publicity stunt for their upcoming fight and they claimed that it was planned in order to sell more tickets.
