John Passidomo faced unfortunate hiking accident on Monday, 1st April 2024, When he was hiking along a Utah trail and during a fall he got severe injuries and died on Wednesday.
This was informed by Senate President Pro Tempore Dennis Baxley who wrote it in a memo to senators released on Wednesday.
After this horrible accident John Passidomo who was 72-year-old was airlifted to nearby regional trauma center, where it was reported that he got head trauma and other severe injuries in unfortunate hiking accident. His wife Kathleen Passidomo who is President of Florida Senate was also along him.
“After a thorough evaluation by the very best medical teams,” his family was informed that he “would not survive,” Baxley wrote.
Baxley also shared that his daughters were informed about this accident and they “quickly traveled to Utah. At time of his death her three daughters and wife Kathleen were present close to him.
Who was John Passidomo?
John Passidomo well known Attorney from Naples met his wife Kathleen while studying at Stetson University Law School in Gulfport. Both were planning to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary in month of September.
This couple decided to join politics and were very successful in their careers.John had also become vice mayor of Naples in 1990-92. This couple had three daughters.
Baxley also revealed that John Passidomo body parts will be donated to other patients as he was very fit and active before accident.
